Retrospective study shows imatinib treatment induces hypogammaglobulinemia

A retrospective study of 72 chronic myeloid leukemia and 15 gastrointestinal stromal tumor patients has shown that patients developed a significant reduction of gammaglobulin and immunoglobulin serum levels.
